Children learn most easily through play, gaining skills and confidence. Games and activities described here can be adapted to your child’s age and abilities.

Art, cooking and science projects at home can lead into writing, as illustrated here. Brian read about volcanoes, and then wrote the recipe for the small clay volcano he made after the “eruption.”
